NO MOVIES FOR THE NEXT 4YRS - DESMOND ELLIOT

Nollywood actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot, since getting into office as a lawmaker representing Surulere constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has been busy as he has only been able to
attend few entertainment functions so far.
The lawmaker in a recent chat with Net, disclosed that he will not be involved in movie productions for the next four years as he needs to focus on his political office to help structure the industry and the people he represents.
According to him, ‘There is nothing acting in all I do now, it’s the job as a legislator and doing work to ensure that there is a better structure in the industry.’
The actor who has featured in many movies also noted that being in politics has not stopped him from being an actor as he is still part of the industry.
