UPDATED: DEATH TOLL IN COORDINATED TERRORIST ATTACKS ON PARIS RISES TO 120

France Attacks
The death toll in the coordinated gun and bomb attacks on the French capital, Paris, has risen to 120.
Reuters news agency is reporting that the number of people killed at the Bataclan concert hall, previously
thought to be as high as 100, has now dropped to about 87 people.
However, 40 other people are said to have been killed at other locations in the city.
The French police said eight of the attackers have died, seven of them through suicide bombing.
Over 200 people are said to be injured in the attacks, 80 of them are believed to be in critical condition.
The police however warned that accomplices of the attackers might still be able to pose serious danger.
The Friday attacks seem to have mirror a Western Middle Age superstition about Friday 13, also known as Black Friday, considered to be an unlucky date that portends bad omen.
Although no group is yet to claim responsibility for the attack, the Australian Prime Minister ,Malcolm Turnbull, said it had the imprimatur of ISIS.
He said the attack “appears to have all the hallmarks of a Daesh exercise”, describing the Middle Eastern terrorist group by another of its name.
“What we know about the attack is very limited … what we know at the moment will undoubtedly change,” he added.
Meanwhile, French football fans, who had gathered at the Stade de France, sang the French anthem as they were being evacuated from the stadium in what appears a demonstration of solidarity and patriotism in the face of adversity.
