71YR OLD COMMITS SUICIDE

A 71-year-old man, Olawale Akinrefe, has committed suicide in Arigbajo Town, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The victim was reported to have jumped into an abandoned well at about 6 a.m. on Saturday.
The deceased wife subsequently reported the matter to the police and said her husband left a suicide note. The content of the note is yet to be made public.
When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the death saying investigation has commenced.
He said the suicide note was written with a pencil and not legible enough; but added that the police will use experts to study the note.
