Top Nigerian musician, Daddy Showkey, also known as
the Ghetto Soldier, over the weekend, was moved while watching some
physically challenged persons play basketball for their country.
The singer, who could not longer hide his emotion, poured out his mind on how felt seeing them
make their nation proud despite their condition.
Daddy Showkey was at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos on October 17, where the event took place. After the game, he promised to support the physically challenged persons in any every way he can.
“Omo I was in National Stadium, Surulere, on Oct 17. Its one day I can’t forget in my life. Seeing our men and women playing Nigeria Wheelchair basketball, I will support them in anyway I can. Oh my God, it was great and a very big honour for me as one of the guests,” the Ajegunle-based musician said.
