MAN STABS MOTHER TO DEATH IN JOS

A 52-year old man, Bravo Kunde, on Thursday murdered his 80-year old mother, known as Mama Yakubu, in Jos.‎
Witnesses said Mr. Kunde allegedly stabbed his mother to death in early hours of Thursday, at Jenta
Mangoro area of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
A relation of the deceased, Baba Nati, claimed Mr. Kunde committed the alleged crime whil‎e drunk.
“He has been doing strange things, but this is the worst he has done by killing his mom,” he said.
He said the leader of the community reported the matter to the Plateau State Police Command, and residents of the area beat Mr. Kunde to pulp before the arrival of the police.
The spokesperson ‎for the Plateau State Police Command could not be reached for comment.
