APC and Mr. Dakuku made the allegation at the resumed hearing of their petition filed against Wike, PDP and INEC before the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal for Rivers.
Counsel to the petitioner, Akinlolu Olujimi (SAN) alleged that the name of the witness, Gbonone Gibson, a civil servant from Boten,Tai local government area, was seen twice on the voters list.
Mr. Olujinmi, who presented a document to the tribunal to back up the allegation, said the name of the witness was also ticked twice meaning that he voted twice in the election.
While cross-examining the witness before the tribunal, the counsel asked, if there was any other person in his family bearing his name and why did his picture appeared twice and was ticked twice in the voters list.
The witness said he was the only person bearing his name.
He further explained that his Permanent Voter Card (PVC) was stolen and for that reason he did another registration with INEC.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that six other witnesses of Wike testified before the tribunal.
They told the tribunal that the election held across the state and was peaceful in their various polling units.
NAN reports that there was however, a mild drama at the tribunal when the witnesses declined to read the statements they made on oath and other documents earlier tendered by INEC.
Mr. Olujinmi had said the contents of the document contradicted the testimonies of the witnesses that the election held across the state and was peaceful.
The witnesses said that they were not the makers of the INEC documents and therefore they could not read them.
Justice Suleiman Ambursa-led tribunal adjourned the case to Friday for continuation of hearing.(NAN)
