In a bid to boost the Nigerian film industry with
good pictures, sound and great acts, some Nigerian movie makers in
Nollywood have began thinking of owning a film academy to help boost the
industry.
After waiting on the government to create a film academy but to no avail, it has become pertinent that it is an individual responsibility rather than wait on the government to come in and as such, actor, Yul Edochie, has seen the need for that.
The actor has launched his Academy which is a subsidiary of Yul Edochie Arts World, which is aimed to be a training ground for actors and actresses.
A graduate of dramatic arts from University of Port Harcourt, Yul’s dream was nurtured as a result of the decline in quality among actors as this will provide him the opportunity to mentor and see to the growth of his trainees.
